In
2003 a young poet named Lauren Richmond was diagnosed with a clival
chordoma. Despite enduring multiple surgeries, radiation, and
chemotherapy, Lauren kept writing and dreamed of one day sharing
her poems with the world. Lauren's wish was granted when the Marty
Lyons Foundation helped her publish a powerful collection of poems
entitled Black and Brown Markers.
